Khalid Hachadi (21) has signed a long-term deal with Vitoria in the Portuguese top-flight, after his breakthrough season in Botola.
Olympique Khouribga confirm on their official Facebook page, that Hachadi have signed a five-year contract with Vitória de Setúbal. The Portuguese club finished 13th in the Primeira Liga this season and already have several other African players in their squad.
Hachadi scored 12 goals in the Moroccan championship for OCK this past campaign and was the second highest scorer among local players, only behind Raja’s Mouhcine Iajour. The young U23 international was heavily linked to Sporting CP earlier this month, but ultimately signed for Vitória, where he will have more time adapting to a new culture.
“I had offers from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE and the United States that were better financially, but I chose Portugal for the benefit of my career, after consulting with people close to me,” Hachadi says.
